About Aurienta

# Your partner between Europe and Asia

Aurienta joins aurora, the dawn, with oriens, the rising sun in the east. We were founded to connect European and Asian life sciences companies, and to take responsibility for what happens in between.

Who we are

## Roots on both continents

Aurienta Life Sciences brings together pharmaceutical manufacturing experience and distribution channels in China with European customer, distributor and regulatory relationships. Neither side could build the bridge alone. Together we offer manufacturing depth, a Chinese network and a European operating base.

## Based in Amsterdam, for good reasons

Rotterdam and Schiphol, with GDP-capable warehousing, and most large EU markets within a day by road.

An experienced competent authority, notified bodies and specialist partners close by.

A Dutch company as importer and contract party is accepted by hospitals and distributors across the EU.

### Close to the regulator

Amsterdam is home to the European Medicines Agency, in a dense cluster of life sciences companies, contract research organisations and specialist consultants.

### Better cash flow on imports

With an Article 23 licence, import VAT is settled in the VAT return instead of paid at the border. Bonded warehousing is widely available.

### Connected to Asia

Direct flights to Shanghai and Seoul, a time zone that overlaps with the Asian working day, and a business culture that works in English.
